Please bring the required documents to any Techcombank transaction counter or schedule an appointment at a TCBS branch (via email: [email protected]) for assistance with account opening, as detailed below:
1. For Foreign Individual Investors (Non-residents in Vietnam)
• A notarized copy of the passport (01 copy).
• Confirmation of the Indirect Investment Capital Account (IICA) (if available).
• Certificate of Trading Code (if available).
2. For Foreign Institutional Investors
• Certificate of Trading Code (if available).
• A certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation, Business Registration Certificate, or equivalent document issued by a competent foreign authority, confirming that the organization has been duly established and registered.
• For branches of foreign organizations in Vietnam: a License for Establishment of Branch/Organization in Vietnam.
• Tax Registration Certificate issued by the tax authority of the country where the organization is incorporated or registered.
• Documents providing information and authorization of the legal representative.
• Passport of the Legal Representative and National ID (if applicable, when representative information is shown on the National ID).
• Confirmation of the Indirect Investment Capital Account (IICA).
• Letter of Authorization for the person submitting the application and a copy of their Vietnamese Citizen ID (CCCD) (if the authorized person submits the application).
Notes:
• Except for documents in English or certified English translations in accordance with foreign law, all other documents in foreign languages must be translated into English by a legally licensed translation organization in Vietnam.
• All notarizations or certifications must be issued within one (01) year prior to the submission date of the application to the depository member.
