Opening a securities account

Please bring the following documents to the Techcombank branch or schedule an appointment with TCBS through the customer service email ([email protected]) for assistance in opening an account. Here are the details:

1. For individual foreign investors:

• Passport (2 certified copies)
• Confirmation of having a foreign investment capital account (if available).
• Certified document with Trading Code (if available).

2. For foreign institutional investors:

• Certificate of trading code (if already obtained)
• Valid copy of the establishment and operation license, or business registration certificate, or equivalent documents issued by the competent foreign authority, confirming the completion of business registration; license for the establishment of organizations and branches in Vietnam (for branches of foreign organizations in Vietnam
• Tax registration certificate from the tax authority in the country of organization or business registration authority
• Documents demonstrating the information and authority of the authorized representative.
• Passport of the authorized representative under the law and National ID (if applicable for documents displaying the information of the authorized representative according to National ID).
• Confirmation of an indirect investment capital account.
• Introduction letter of the person submitting the application and ID card of the introduced person (if the introducer submits the application).
  
  Please note:

•  Except for English documents or English translations that have been certified or authenticated according to foreign laws, documents in other foreign languages must be translated into English by a legally operating translation organization in Vietnam.
•  The notarization or certification date must not be more than one (01) year from the date of submission of the foreign investor’s application to the custodian member.
