Effective from June 16, 2025, in accordance with Circular No. 03/2025/TT-NHNN issued by the State Bank of Vietnam, all banks operating in Vietnam are required to ensure that only foreign investors who are legally residing in Vietnam may conduct securities investment transactions via a Vietnamese Dong (VND) current account.
To comply with this regulation and avoid any interruption to your investment activities, we kindly request that you proactively contact your beneficiary bank to confirm your residency status and, if applicable, convert your current Indirect Investment Capital Account into a VND current account.
I. For Foreign Investors Residing in Vietnam: If you currently reside in Vietnam and have updated your bank account in accordance with the new regulation, please complete the following steps at Techcom Securities (TCBS):
1. Update your new VND current account information with TCBS.
2. Confirm your residency status in Vietnam via the TCInvest by submitting a valid residency document with a duration of at least 12 months, such as:
+Temporary Residence Card
+Visa
+Visa Exemption Certificate
TCBS will verify the submitted documents and notify you of the result within one (01) business day, provided all information is complete and valid.
II. For Foreign Investors Not Residing in Vietnam: If you are not residing in Vietnam, no action is required, and you may disregard this notice.
