Opening a securities account – For individual foreign investors not residing in Vietnam

A. Required Documents

1. Passport: 01 original, notarized, or consular-legalized copy
2.Trading Code confirmation (if applicable): 01 original, notarized, or consular-legalized copy
3.Indirect Investment account (IICA) confirmation (if applicable): 01 original, notarized, or consular-legalized copy

B. Submission address

Individual foreign investors who do not reside in Vietnam are required to complete the online securities account registration and submit the duly signed application documents to the address below:

• Hanoi: 27th Floor, C5 Building, 119 Tran Duy Hung Street, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi
• Ho Chi Minh City: 8th Floor, Techcombank Saigon Tower, 23 Le Duan Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Note:
•  Documents must be sent within 10 days from the registration date, based on the postmark.
•  If TCBS does not receive valid documents within this timeframe, the account opening request will be canceled. Clients will need to re-access TCInvest to download new forms and resubmit the application.
•  Except for documents in English or certified English translations in accordance with foreign law, all other documents in foreign languages must be translated into English by a legally licensed translation organization in Vietnam.
•  All notarizations or certifications must be issued within one (01) year prior to the submission date of the application to the depository member.
