2. Trading Code confirmation (if applicable): 01 original, notarized, or consular-legalized copy
3. VND payment account
4. Residency documents: 01 original copy
Residency documents are used to verify the residency status of foreign clients in Vietnam and may include, but are not limited to, a Permanent Residence Card, Temporary Residence Card, Visa, or Visa Exemption Certificate. Such documents are considered valid only if they meet both of the following conditions: (i) a total validity period of at least twelve (12) months from the issue date to the expiry date; and (ii) remaining valid at the time the client declares the information.
Note:
• Except for documents in English or certified English translations in accordance with foreign law, all other documents in foreign languages must be translated into English by a legally licensed translation organization in Vietnam.
• All notarizations or certifications must be issued within one (01) year prior to the submission date of the application to the depository member.
• For clients who have not yet obtained a Trading Code, after completing the online account registration, please send one (01) notarized or consular-legalized copy of your passport to TCBS via express courier. This is required to complete the Trading Code application necessary for opening a securities account:
